Vanilla Ice-cream made with Organic Norohuy Vanilla
500 grams of milk
50 g UHT cream 30%
4 egg yolks
125 grams of sugar
15 g NOROHY organic Norohy vanilla extract
In a saucepan, stir together the milk, cream and vanilla extract.
Bring to the boil, remove from the fire, cover and leave to steep for 10 minutes.
In the meantime, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until fluffy.
Gradually pour the milk mixture into the egg yolk, mixing well with the whisk
Return to the saucepan and simmer over low heat, stirring constantly, until it has a creamy consistency, like an English cream. If you dip a spoon into the cream and pull it out again, the cream should nap on the back of the spoon.
Stop cooking and let the mixture set in the fridge for about an hour.
Pour the cold mass into an ice cream maker and turn on until the desired consistency is reached.
Creating the cones
Ice-cream cones - (Wafer or Waffle)
50 g VALRHONA milk chocolate Jivara 40%
50g Caramelized Sesame seeds / Toasted Sesame seeds
To make the ice cream cones more individual and even more enjoyable, melt the chocolate in a water bath.
Dip the top of the ice cream cones in the chocolate and then sprinkle all over with caramelized sesame seeds.
Now you can create your own home made cones along with your home made ice-cream
1 egg
60 grams of butter
125 grams of sugar
115g hot water
15 g NOROHY organic vanilla
125 grams of flour
Boil the water.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add and stir until the mixture turns white.
Add egg and hot water, then stir.
Sprinkle in the flour and beat until the batter appears thick enough (like waffle batter).
Add the Norohy vanilla extract. Chill for 30 minutes.
Then bake the waffles and shape them into cones
